This is NOT Centralia. It's Ashland, the next town to the south. Supposedly, Centralia looked a lot like this back in '62.

Centralia today. Sue Sniblet says it looks a lot better now. I agree.

Next time I'll go back there without a polarized lens on the camera so you can see all the smoke better! When will that be? Who knows? I don't. But someday it will come to pass... Now you may
