Colorado May 2000 pix

Last spring my mother graduated from Naropa University in Boulder. She now has her M.A. in contemplative psychology. I flew 2/3 of the way across the US to the edge of the Rocky Mountains to visit for a 3 way celebration of her graduation, Mother's Day, and her birthday.

This crazy looking structure is Denver International Airport. Is that roof supposed to signify tepees? or mountains? or is it a giant caterpillar?
Here it is from the inside. Pretty neat ey?
This is she who gave birth to me, for better or for worse, on the morn of her 2nd Masters' degree. Instead of the usual cap-and-gown hassle, she needed only to wear a simple, elegant purple sash to signify her Big Day. ConGraduations Mom!
