Last spring my mother graduated from Naropa University in Boulder. She now has her M.A. in contemplative psychology. I flew 2/3 of the way across the US to the edge of the Rocky Mountains to visit for a 3 way celebration of her graduation, Mother's Day, and her birthday.
This crazy looking structure is Denver International Airport. Is that roof supposed to signify tepees? or mountains? or is it a giant caterpillar? | |

This is she who gave birth to me, for better or for worse, on the morn of her 2nd Masters' degree. Instead of the usual cap-and-gown hassle, she needed only to wear a simple, elegant purple sash to signify her Big Day. ConGraduations Mom! |
